Diana (Dee Dee) Jean Jackson was born in 1948 as the fifth child of Fred L. Jackson Sr. and Katherine Jackson. She passed away on March 25, 2023. Diana was a devout Christian who used her faith to inspire others.
She accepted Christ when she was young and was an active member of the Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship for thirty years. She was a member of the choir and the Twice Blessed Transplant Ministry.
Diana attended public school in Dallas and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1967.
She worked for several companies, including Safeway Stores, Trinity Industries, and the City of Dallas before her retirement.
Diana is survived by her siblings: Fred Jackson Jr., Freddie Cox, Ollie “Jo” Brooks, Gwendolyn Gillaspie, and Melanie Banks.
Although Diana did not have children of her own, she had a special bond with her niece, Demetra “Peach” Jackson.
She will be missed by many, including her extended family, friends, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
