Adidas has hired Grambling QB Julian Calvez to a NIL contract. The news was made via the rookie signal-caller’s Instagram account.

A Bleacher Report story from March outlined Adidas’ news of the start of an egalitarian NIL network intended to provide college players with the opportunity to become compensated brand advocates for the business.

Adidas also stated that the NIL network will be accessible to HBCUs in the autumn. Calvez and several Grambling athletes were able to join Adidas’ NIL network during this early timeframe. Demarcus Smiley and Jose Vargas (baseball), James Brown (track and field), Haley Gomez (volleyball), Malik Lamin (men’s basketball), and Jurnee Mclaurin (women’s basketball) were among them.
