Joe Bryant Jr., the star player of Norfolk State, has been selected for the prestigious Portsmouth Invitational Tournament (PIT), which invites 64 senior college basketball players from across the nation to compete before professional scouts.

The PIT is renowned as one of the nation’s top showcase events, and Bryant is the first Norfolk State basketball player to be invited to the tournament since Kyle O’Quinn appeared in the event in 2012.

Bryant’s coach, Robert Jones, expressed his pride and excitement for Bryant, saying that this is a significant step for his potential professional career.

The PIT has a reputation for welcoming legendary players such as Earl “The Pearl” Monroe, Scottie Pippin, and Dennis Rodman, making it a highly prestigious event for up-and-coming basketball players.
